Ready To Takeoff

I position the airplane at the hold line so that I can see any landing airplanes just to make sure I'm not given permission to taxi onto the runway with an airplane coming in. A call the tower is returned stating that I am to hold short of the runway for landing traffic. Sure enough, a plane way out there is turning base to final for landing on 21L. I call back that I'm holding and wait.
