Headset and Intercom

We each have a headset. Both have boom microphones. I'll help you with yours. The boom needs to be quite close to your lips and you need to project your voice into the microphone. You will be able to hear everything on the radio but will not transmit outside the aircraft. Your voice will only be heard only by me. Volume is a little tricky as there is a control on each headset, a volume control on the intercom, and a volume control on the radio. As if that weren't enough there is a squelch on both the radio and the intercom. If you can't hear or the audio is to loud, let me know and I'll make adjustments. Below is my passenger headset.

It is quite noisy inside these Cessna 150s but these nice headsets help a lot. There used to be a speaker above in the headliner but I removed it to save weight....one pound.
