Check Fuel Gauges
With the master switch "ON" the fuel gauges will indicate the quantity of fuel in the tanks. These guages are directly in front of the right seated occupant.
I don't rely on the gauges all that much as I measure the amount of fuel in the tanks as you'll see later. Notice the ammeter just to the right of the fuel gauges is showing a discharge as the engine is not running.
Above the fuel gauges in the center is a hobbs meter. It records time the engine is operating. I never use that gauge.
Just below the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges is a storage area that contains among other things a fuel gauge and a fuel sample cup that remove at this time for use outside the aircraft. It's also where the airsick bags are.
