Check Ignition Off

With the control lock removed ignition access is easy. The positions of the ignition switch are, "OFF", "LEFT", RIGHT", "BOTH", and "START". It is in the "OFF" position here. At this point I put the ignition keys on top of the instrument panel so I can see them from the outside. After I get to the front of the airplane I may want to move the prop. The keys where I can see them verifies that the engine will not start. When the engine is really cold I use the prop to turn over the engine a few times to kind of limber it up a little. I've read that it doesn't help much.

Notice just below the ignition switch that the red master switch is off (the bottom part of the rocker switch is pressed in.).
