Check Top and Bottom for Water

The left tank is checked for water just like the right tank. There is also a drain at the bottom of the airplane that is the lowest point in the fuel system to be checked. If there were any water in the system it would be here. Originally there was a plug there. The FAA has to OK any changes like this to the airplane.

One of my concerns is that I get distracted and leave the right fuel cap off when I get off the ladder to get the sample from the bottom of the airplane.
