Check Cables and Bolts
Cables and bolts at the tail assembly can be checked rather easily but you have to duck down and do it. There is a letter from Cessna recommending that the stop for the rudder be replaced but mine is fine so I have left it as is. If the FAA says to modify it then I have to do it.
Here I simply move the rudder and elevator and check the cables for security. Cables run from the yoke. The cables that move the ailerons don't get checked except by the mechanic on a yearly basis.
